Worked on the gameplay design team in this huge and deep RPG game. My duties as a gameplay designer are not only related with the design of the game but also related with the implementation of that design.

Working as a gameplay designer at CD Projekt red means you will spend an amount of time desiging game features, pitching and presenting them to the team during the preproduction/production phase and implementing them during the production phase.

Implementation is done on a high level using a script languaje (Red script) similar to C# and also using propietary tools integrated in the in-house engine (RedEngine4) such as behavior trees, tweakDB, anim graphs, game effects, localization tools, etc... Implementation is not only done by gameplay designer but also by game programmers, that work closely to gameplay designer, implementing low level and more complex logic. 

As a gameplay designer working on Cyberpunk 2077 I had the ownership of several core systems like status effects and consumables. I also worked on different systems like some RPG systems( player development, damage pipeline, etc...).

I have been also working on AI related features, like crowds, traffic and gangers reactions, defining and implementing how NPCs react to player interaction with the world. Also worked on devices system, implementing several devices that allows player´s interaction with the world.
