




During my period at Funcom, I worked remotely as a Senior Game Designer for the Lisbon team on the project Dune Awakening, an MMO survival game based on the iconic Dune IP. This role allowed me to contribute to various aspects of the game's development while collaborating with an international team.
One of my main responsibilities was acting as the Product Owner for several key "social features". I was directly involved in the design and implementation of the group and clan systems, ensuring that players could form, manage, and interact within communities. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in the development of both voice and text communication systems within the game, enhancing the social experience for players.
I also contributed to the game’s accessibility features, working closely with the UI and Audio team to design systems that cater to players with disabilities, ensuring a more inclusive experience.
My work extended to supporting other game systems, such as the building mechanics, where I collaborated on designing and refining features to enhance the overall gameplay.
Throughout my time at Funcom, I gained invaluable experience working on a high-profile project, balancing both creative and technical aspects of game design to create an engaging and immersive MMO experience.
